On the first day of Christmas,
The Bakery gave to us all:
A festively themed background image,
Some digital falling snow,
And, the promise of a post-a-day in the run up to Christmas.
Dust off your monitor, pull up your trousers and grab yourself a plate of mince pies because Christmas is here and The Bakery offices are more festively themed than the front foyer of a Travelodge. Dan’s decorating the turkey in the attic, Richard’s basting the baubles, Tom’s writing hate mail to all of our relatives and Adam and Gaet are flushing mistletoe down the toilet. I think we’re almost there.
Each day in the run up to Christmas, we will be delivering small electronic parcels of Yuletide joy to this blog, with the help of some special guest authors too. So get damn excited, and don’t forget to pop in every day for your true dose of festive euphoria.
A Bakery Advent Calendar! Hurrah! It’s what we’ve all been waiting for…
Lovely!
Yaaay!! I for one am thrilled that the Bakery will be churning out such vast amounts of blog posts for me to enjoy during final exams, providing me with a much needed source of procrastination and entertainment, all in one.
The new background is absolutely magnificent and certainly holiday horn inducing (or was that the gift-wrapped big ben??). Incidentally, every time I see that lovely little Christmas note to Jim Laslett it conjures up the image of Tom German seductively serenading and prancing around Jim Laslett to the tune of “Last Christmas”. I’d say simply because of this the Bakery’s festive new look and the promise of a post-a-day is already a great success.
Keep up the good work, Bakery boys.
Love,
Gertie
P.S. America does not have mince pies so please send some over as soon as possible. Al, some of your screen-cleaning moist towelettes to help with dusting off my monitor would also be much appreciated.
