Wicked Pig – Challenge 1.

Here at last, is the first of our Challenge Films for Sty TV! And a trailer…

Neitzsche was wrong. God is Alive. God is the Frank Chickens.

The Edinburgh comedy awards have long championed the best and most creative comedy. For years they were sponsored by Perrier, these days they endure a lager brand name. And they have just incurred the wrath of my favourite stand-up, Stewart Lee, by coming up with the most unimaginative, meaningless and generic way of promoting their new-found alliance. They want the Internet public to vote for their ‘Comedy God,’ from all previous winners and nominees. Yes, the idea is so beige and pathetic that it’s pretty embarrassing to think someone was paid to come up with it. It associates the best, most creative comedy, with commercial blandness and tired ITV talent show-style voting. In a now well-circulated e-mail rant, Stewart Lee implored “Who among those you are asking to vote has even heard of The Frank Chickens, who for all anyone under 30 knows may be the best act on the list? Coming Soon… The Wicked Pig Challenges!

Richard and Dan are currently embarking upon the first of the Wicked Pig Challenges for StyTV, which will hit your computer screens very soon. Their first challenge is to make a fiver into a fortune… Meanwhile, all previous records for Bakery video viewing figures have been shattered by our  Sty Tv Introduction video which has now been seen by over 23,000 people! It’s absurd. It’s ridiculous. It’s . . . more than the population of Aberystwyth.

You’ll also notice that Chef Julian has returned from his 7 months travelling abroad. He has presents for everyone, but he’s also bought himself a new iPhone4 and will now resume his duties as our official representative on Twitter. So, have a look around – what do people think of webakestuff.co.uk version 3?

Crash Test

I present to thee my final piece of work whilst at Escape Studios. Everything was completed by myself from modeling, tracking, removing lens distortion, removing tracking markers, through to rendering and compositing (with quite a few other steps in between!). (Edit: Due to legal reasons I have to state that Gate “did the acting”). So, as short and sweet as it may be, enjoy! (as always crits of the goods and the bads are always welcomed) Chef Adam
