Advent calendar 18: Desperate Sit Piercings

On the seventeenth day of Christmas,
The Bakery gave to me:
Desperate Sit Piercings

A film so densely packed with in-jokes, it wont make much sense to more than 7 people. Enjoy.

  1. They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery. And that is clearly disproven by this shambles of a video.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed it immensely. Especially the whistlestop inspiration tour.

  2. HAHA! I remember a similar response from the head of the Electronics department, when i sent him our satire of his promotional film.

And what did they do 3 years later? Commission us to make something promotional. So in a similar vain, i’m waiting for you to become famous and then ask me to make something promotional for you.

It will happen, mark my words.

  3. I think once a year (at Christmas), the bakery should satirise all the work they did in a single 1-2minute video #steakonyourback.

  4. I think off the back of this Al and I will receive a fair amount of funding for the satirical Bakery Christmas video 2012. It’ll be a tough chat but I think think we can convince the shareholders to invest a substantial amount.

It’s all part of The Bakery roadmap.

The question is though, what’s after #steakonyourback?

HAHA! What a dynamic and hilarious duo you two make! I think this is the most we’ve ever seen of Chef Alaric and Chef Flex in front of the camera – and we demand some more! You certainly got in some very good jaw shots of Al but I really think a lot would have been gained had there been some coin slot exposure during the “steak on your back” scene.
Absolutely brilliant work, you two! Thank you for making this. For too long the duos of Dan and Richard or Dan and Gate have reigned over the Bakery as the only comedic pairings (Tom German is a force unto himself). May the rivalry begin! 🙂

  6. I feel that after those performances it might be a while before we appear front of kitchen agian!

  7. In a similar vein of nostaligic satires of The Bakery, I thought it necessary to remind us all of another time Alaric King debuted in front of the camera:
