“She said it’s not bacon, it’s gammon…”
A short film about the life of a little wooden chair and its many owners.
From the forest where the tree is felled, to the shop windows and living rooms the chair finds itself in, this film illustrates the life journey that all people and objects – no matter how simple – progress through over the years.
Shot across the seasons, this film acted like a vast 2-year experimental learning curve in directing, camera work, editing, and all the other joys of film production. It formed Alaric’s final degree project at the University of Kent.
To date it is the only film that features all members of The Bakery. It also roped in tons of our Canterbury-based friends, thus becoming (for us at least) a rather nostalgic snapshot of that period in time.
