“I do prefer the quieter places generally . . . you know, not so rowdy.”
A short tragicomic film focussing on the character of Geoff Island from our radio sitcom ‘Konkers.’
Geoff is a solitary bespectacled undergraduate at the University of Konkerbury. Now in his second year of study, and bereft of his pet owl (thank to the RSPCA) he has moved into a one-bedroom house, adamant that he can have “just as much fun” with his own company and a nice cup of tea.
This heartfelt short film was screened as part of the Canterbury Film Festival in October 2008.
